BA (Hons) Live Visual Design & Production is a ground-breaking degree that will prepare you for an exciting career in live experience and entertainment, creating cutting-edge visual experiences for global audiences. Professionals with this skillset are in increasing demand in virtual productions, TV & film, esports, live events, music, theatre and corporate events.
You'll build virtual worlds with gaming platforms like Unreal Engine, experiment with immersive technology such as virtual reality and motion tracking and create interactive visual experiences with projection mapping and LED walls.
Teaching is project-based and practical. During your degree, you’ll learn from masterclasses with industry experts, work on real-world commercial projects and access industry work placements. You'll use industry-leading software, technology and equipment, to explore the creative, technical and production elements of live visuals.
This course is ideal for you if you're interested in and would like to explore:
Virtual and augmented reality (AR & VR)
World-building, video and interactive game design
Generative content creation - using software to automatically generate content in real-time
