Below is a range of sports science degree courses offered by different universities and the A-level entry requirements they ask for (as of 26 April 2024). Bear in mind that many universities will make contextual offers for students who meet the eligibility criteria. These offers may have grade requirements close to or slightly below the typical offer.
University of Nottingham: 'A,A,A. At least two science subjects from the following: biology , chemistry, maths, physics, psychology. Human biology is considered on a case by case basis. A pass is required in science practical tests, if assessed separately.'
Brunel University London: 'A,A,B - B,B,B. Including one of the following subjects: Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Human Biology, Maths, Psychology, Sport Science, Sport Studies, Sociology, Physics or Physical Education.'
University of Aberdeen: 'A minimum of 3 A Levels at BBB - at least 2 from science or maths subjects. To be considered for entry into Second Year, a minimum of 3 A Levels at ABB, with AB from 2 science or maths subjects (including the subject(s) nominated for Honours - an A in the subject for Single Honours or AB in the subjects for Joint Honours). Also required: GCSE at C or above in English or English Language, Mathematics and in either Chemistry, or Physics or Dual Award Science.'
