Examples of chemistry degree requirements
Below are a range of chemistry courses offered by different universities and the A-level entry requirements they ask for (as of 7 June 2018):
University of Lincoln: 'B,B,B. To include grade B from A Level Chemistry.'
University of Leeds: ‘ABB including Chemistry. Where an A-Level Science subject is taken, we require a pass in the practical science element, alongside the achievement of the A-Level at the stated grade. Excludes A-Level General Studies or Critical Thinking’.
University of South Wales: ‘B,C,C-C,D,D. To include Chemistry and normally one other Science. General Studies is not accepted. The A Level entry criteria detailed is the qualification range within which the University will normally make offers. Most offers we make are normally at the top of the range, but we take all aspects of an application into consideration and applicants receive a personalised offer.’
