In order to gain the HNC Electrical and Electronics Engineering qualification you will undertake the following units. Engineering Design, Engineering Math, Engineering Science, Managing a Professional Engineering Project, Electrical and Electronic Principles Digital Principles, Electrical Machines, Electronic Circuits and devices.
You will be required to apply your knowledge to a variety of assignments and activities which focus on the development of practical, interpersonal and higher-level thinking skills. The assessment reflects not only what you know but also what you can do to succeed in employment and higher education.
A variety of forms of assessment evidence are used. For many units, the practical demonstration of skills is necessary and, for others, you will need to carry out your own research and analysis, working independently or as part of a team.
