During the foundation degree, you'll reflect on a range of issues that affect the development of children and young people. You’ll explore the relationship between child development and practices in the workplace by carrying out practical research tasks. You’ll also investigate issues related to disability, autism, speech, language and social communication needs, and sensory differences and physical conditions.
Through inquiry, debate, reflection, and a purposeful integration of literature and current evidence related to child development and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), you’ll make meaningful connections to develop your practice and impact.
