Subject

Performing arts

If you’re interested in a broad range of performance areas such as dance, drama, vocal studies or creative theatre production then this course is for you.

You will pursue a variety of subjects spanning a wide range of Performing Arts activities covering performance, technical operation, management and design. This will give you the flexibility to develop your art as you get to grips with the realities and practicalities of performance and production.

There's a strong practical element to the degree and you'll be able to refine your artistic talents in dedicated performance spaces that are designed to inspire you.

You'll be learning from specialist tutors who have been professional practitioners in music, dance, drama and theatre production. They have excellent working relationships with the creative industries in and around our lively arts community and they'll share their experiences with you and give you opportunities to connect with other professionals.

The flexible nature of the course means you can tailor some of your learning to topics that most interest you by choosing from optional modules. From the processes of production to rehearsal and performance, you'll develop specialist skills and knowledge all the way through the course.

100% of our Performing Arts students were in jobs or further study 15 months after finishing their course. Graduate Outcomes Survey 2022
