Here's what City of Bristol College says about its Youth and Community Work course.
This programme has been designed to meet the needs of the workforce. It provides a means by which practitioners, employed within a learning environment, can obtain a recognised qualification specific to their field and become more effective in their role by an increased reflection on practice.
This Foundation Degree course is for adults who work or volunteer in informal educational settings e.g. Youth Workers.
It is a full-time programme and you will spend one day a week studying in college. If you studied your Level 3 course with us, you could be eligible for our Higher Education Progression Bursary. Are you thinking of applying to this university?
Before you do, it's a good idea to go to an open day. You can have a good look around campus, getting a better idea of what it's like to study there. You'll meet current students and staff and get the chance to ask them questions.
Universities will list upcoming open days on their websites. Most will also have virtual open days; these are a great alternative if you really can't get there in person. For tips on preparing for open days, check the advice section here on The Uni Guide.
