The Animal Science level four Certificate of Higher Education is offered via distance learning and is 100% studied online, full time and part time. The programme enables students to study at home at a time that suits them best to develop a range of skills, personal qualities and attitudes necessary to work successfully within the field of animal science.

The course allows students the opportunity to broaden their knowledge in the scientific principles of animal ethology, behaviour and physiology, and the application of this knowledge to animal welfare, husbandry and conservation
