Following successful completion of the Foundation Degree in Agriculture, students must complete and pass the Bridging Studies modules before they can commence the BSc (Hons) Degree course modules.

BSc Sustainable Agriculture (Level 6):

Agri-business pathway modules:

• Agri-food policy and human resource management • Farm performance management • Marketing and entrepreneurship • Literature review and research proposal • Research project • Sustainable supply chains

Land Management pathway modules:

• Animal welfare and ethics in agriculture • Advanced animal nutrition* • Advanced crop protection* • Literature review and research proposal • Research project • Sustainable land management policies • Sustainable supply chains

How you will be assessed

The Bridging Studies Programme is delivered as a combination of face to face and remote delivery in the period June to August (semester 3) immediately following completion of the Foundation degree and before progression into the Honours degree.

Both modules will be assessed by 100% continuous assessment with assignments submitted over the bridging period.
