Explore the world of fashion in our unique and purpose-built workshops and studios, which are renowned with industry and provide a supported creative yet academic setting for this discipline area. You will have access to fully equipped apparel workshops, spacious studios with blended use workspaces, technical workshops, state-of-the-art industrial standard production equipment, and premium Computer Aided Design (CAD) suites. Everything you could possibly need to develop your skills whilst exploring your interest within the world of Fashion.
This programme covers a cross section of market sectors, ranging from high-street fashion to ready-to-wear, suitable for both UK and global markets. These skills can ultimately open the door to incredible career opportunities in your chosen sector.
We are also aware of fashion’s responsibility to work towards a sustainable, ethical and diverse future. Our briefs and projects respond to this, presenting a true reflection of many of the challenges being faced in the industry today whilst paving the way for the future. A good example of our commitment to this is our support for textile heritage. We work with many local and national industries to help ensure that traditional craftsmanship will always have a place alongside contemporary.

Edinburghs got some decent clubs. Having lived here my whole life, its the kind of city you dont want to escape. Its beautiful, many work opportunities especially for students.

Financially the accomodation isnt worth it, the courses are free to Scottish students but for International students its terrible (this is the same for all Scottish Universities). Cost of living in Edinburgh can be high, but for the most part its okay.

Very supportive, if youre not feeling the best, have had certain bad circumstances arise they are very helpful in aiding you.

Over priced, bad quality, small. Its on the outskirts of Edinburgh and yet its cheaper to rent a flat closer to the middle.

The core lecturers of this course are good, although there is one or two I wish had been different on certain modules. The lectureres communicate well with students whenever they need it. The quality of teaching is also very good, and it is very easy to ask things if you dont understand.
The NSS is an annual survey where final-year students are asked to rate different aspects of their course and university experience.
