This 3 year degree is validated and delivered by Liverpool Hope University through Holy Cross College in Bury. This full time honours degree is taught via a combination of face-to face and online sessions. Usual attendance for taught sessions is up to 2 evenings per week from 6pm-9pm. Social justice lies at the heart of this course which aims to develop professionals with a critical understanding of how social inequalities arise and the knowledge, values and passion to bring about change. It has been developed with input from a range of Health and Social Care professionals and organisations to ensure a curriculum that addresses key contemporary issues in the field. The course is designed for those wishing to pursue a career in Health and Social Care or those already working in the sector who are looking to enhance and develop their career.
