Foundation Year Our Foundation Year provides an excellent alternative route to Keele, providing a unique opportunity to better prepare for your chosen degree, and with guaranteed entry onto your undergraduate course once you successfully complete your Foundation Year. This extra year of study can improve your academic skills, expand your subject knowledge, give you a better understanding of higher education and, perhaps most importantly of all, build your confidence. Neuroscience with Psychology Are you intrigued by how the human brain works and why people think, act and behave the way they do? Study the mind, brain and behaviour through core theoretical and practical learning to understand people and how human functions operate daily. Our Royal Society of Biology accredited programme* investigates neuroanatomy and neurophysiology in depth, whilst exploring the psychology of human social interaction, cognition and development. You will graduate with the knowledge and skills to pursue a successful career in neuroscience, psychology or biological sciences.

Neuroscience with Psychology BSc at Keele investigates two fascinating disciplines to study the mind, brain and behaviour. Our Royal Society of Biology accredited programme* is designed to provide you with a foundation of knowledge across leading areas including neuroanatomy, neurophysiology and cognitive neuroscience. You will be introduced to the study of cells and molecular biology and human physiology to examine the brain, from how it senses and moves through the environment, to the mechanisms underlying learning and memory. You will become equipped with a grounding in the key concepts of neuroscience with transferable skills that will help to prepare you for a career of your choice.
*Subject to passing your final year project and laboratory modules in Year 1 and Year 2.
