Whether you’ve completed a HND and want to top-up to a full degree, or you’ve completed two years of Civil Engineering elsewhere and are ready to finish your degree with us, then look no further. This course gives you the opportunity to complete your journey and achieve your goals.
In your top-up year, you’ll study third year modules from our Civil Engineering (BEng hons) degree, equipping you with the specialist knowledge and practical skills demanded in civil engineering.
Civil Engineering plays a vital role in our society, we design, build and maintain infrastructure that improves lives. Roads, bridges, canals, dams and buildings have all have an integral part in our built environment. Civil Engineering is a broad area with a number of specialisms and you will be able to develop the knowledge and skills in our programme. Our course is very practical and hands-on, our teaching is strongly driven by what we need in the industry, we embed sustainability, technology and software throughout our curriculum.

Quality of teaching was good but lacked efficiency as there were several network issues. Timetable was so far apart like having a seminar very early in the morning and a 7 hour gap until the next lecture, there were very limited things to do around campus and it wouldn’t be practical to go home eith...
