This Higher National Diploma (HND) has been designed to cater for the increasing demand of employers in the Animal Management sector. This qualification has been developed to heighten the career prospects of those who undertake the course and ensure that they have the tools to adapt to a constantly changing world in the Animal Science and Care industries.

This is a 2-year course, with the first year being an HNC (Level 4) and the second year being an HND (Level 5).

Upon successful completion of the HND programme, students will be equipped with all the skills they need to gain employment in their chosen area.

Year 2 (Level 5) Modules: Biological Principles, Research Project, Anthrozoology, Evolution and Adaptations, Breeding and Genetics & Behavioural approaches to Animal Management + plus 80 hours of work experience is also required.
