Many complete their foundation training and register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), going on to work in community or hospital pharmacy, the pharmaceutical industry, or primary care. Others find roles in the armed forces, prison services, or academia. Opportunities also exist in specialist areas such as oncology, mental health, and paediatrics, often following further training.
