Open Day

Are you thinking of applying to this university?

Before you do, it's a good idea to go to an open day. You can have a good look around campus, getting a better idea of what it's like to study there. You'll meet current students and staff and get the chance to ask them questions.

Universities will list upcoming open days on their websites. Most will also have virtual open days; these are a great alternative if you really can't get there in person. For tips on preparing for open days, check the advice section here on The Uni Guide.

2nd year student

My tutors have been really supportive through my time at university so far. I receive important feedback to the work I create and I find myself constantly improving. You are always learning from your environment, your peers and through your own trial and errors. It is both exciting and scary to work...

Foundation year student

So far I have learned amazing amount of new skills and already have a good grasp on my chosen subject. The course work is interesting and beyond what I’ve was expecting from it.

Not as much experience on a set as would have been expected. Lecturers all have wildly different opinions which can make it difficult to decide on which feedback to act on. Good equipment.

Course content is brilliant, really engages and gets you ready for work. Timetable is always up to date and staff send email updates if anything changes.
