Biomedical sciences is a broad area of modern science and underpins much of contemporary medicine. By studying a biomedical sciences degree, you’ll understand how the human body works and how illnesses are diagnosed and treated. You’ll explore how cells, tissues, organs, and body systems function together and their impact on health and disease. You’ll learn about the functions of the human body by studying anatomy and physiology, and how we prevent, diagnose and treat illnesses. Our biomedical sciences degree will also teach you practical skills through our award-winning OpenSTEM Labs and, in some cases, extended reality.

This biomedical sciences degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits. In Stage 1, you’ll study two 60-credit modules. In Stage 2, you’ll study two 60-credit modules. In Stage 3, you’ll study a 60-credit module, a 30-credit module and complete a 30-credit project module.

Its all digital so ???? In terms of remote unis I think they are probably the best at doing it.

Very good, tutors have been very helpful and the material is good enough. It is very Space focused in my opinion, but that is due to the OU being very focused on Space as a research area. Space is also pretty ideal for remote research to be fair as well.
