Develop critical insight into a range of topics related to the theory and practice of international tourism management. Expand your French language skills to become a bilingual professional. Through 18 months of work and study placements, you gain transferable intercultural competencies and the global skillset employers are looking for.

This course employs a variety of innovative learning and teaching methods within the vibrant, dynamic setting of Sheffield Business School, an internationally-recognised centre of teaching excellence which attracts students and academics from all over the world.

**Work placements**

As part of your course you will spend eleven months on a work placement in a relevant organisation based in France. Your placement is a great opportunity to gain valuable international tourism experience. It helps you develop your skills and French language ability and significantly enhances your employability. You will have the opportunity to apply for placements with international companies such as Location Vacances Express (Champigny sur Marne), Animal Box (Paris) and Toluna SAS Levallois-Perret.

**Live projects**

Some modules will enable you to participate in stimulating projects in collaboration with companies or experienced professionals from a variety of sectors. This is another exciting way to gain professional skills and enhance your employability prospects.
