The foundation degree in Sports, Coaching and Fitness will help you to develop the specialist skills and knowledge necessary to excel within the dynamic sport coaching and fitness sector. This will enable you to grow and adapt to the public, sport and fitness demand within the industry.

The course considers a broad range of relevant disciplines, preparing you for future employment in the sector. You will build a strong understanding of the physiological theory of sport and fitness, as well as health psychology, nutrition and various other topics. You will also develop your analytical and research techniques, which will support your practical skills and experience.

Post-six month graduation stats:

This is from the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education Survey, based on responses from graduates who studied the same subject area here.

It offers a snapshot of what grads went on to do six months later, what they were earning on average, and whether they felt their degree helped them obtain a 'graduate role'. We calculate a mean rating to indicate if this is high, medium or low compared to other universities.
