The largest and most established programme within the School of Management, our BSc Business Management will provide you with a broad range of expertise across the areas of business and management (such as marketing, operations management, accounting, strategy and human resource management) as well as offering a range of cutting-edge specialist optional modules. This degree is designed for the student who wants to excel and reach the top level of global business management practice.

As part of this programme, you will spend a year abroad between your second and final year, broadening your skills and experience. In Year 1, you will typically study areas including: Accounting for Managers, Managing People, Key Skills for Business, The Global Context of Organisation, Operations Management.

In Year 2, you will typically study areas including: Economics for Business, Strategic Analysis, Corporate Governance and Ethics.

In Year 3, you undertake a Study Abroad Placement.

In Year 4, you will typically study areas including: Financial Market Efficiency, Investment Banking, Financial Services. You will also undertake a Final Year Project.

We offer a variety of assessment methods within our programmes. In addition to traditional examinations and essays, examples of alternative assessment include:
