Working in electronics engineering can involve the design, development, maintenance and testing of components, devices, systems or equipment that use electricity as part of their source of power. These components include capacitors, diodes, resistors and transistors.
During your career you could be involved in the design and development stage, testing of prototypes and the final manufacture and implementation of a new product or system. You will typically work within a team of colleagues with specialisms in other areas of engineering.
