Computers are everywhere. They are used in all aspects of work and life, and are constantly evolving. Regardless of your prior experience, this course will provide you with all the knowledge and skills to enter a rewarding career in the computing industry. Gain expertise with current and emerging technologies, which can be applied creatively to new and existing problem areas. Focus on practise-based learning, and master software development for multiple hardware and software platforms. Graduate with high-level, subject-specific knowledge, and practical and transferable skills which will enable you to enter the computing industry, or proceed to further study.

Modules

Year 1 core modules (subject to change over time) - CMP101 Computer Hardware Architecture & Operating Systems; CMP109 Computer Networking 1; CMP104 Programming with C++; CMP102 Software Design; CMP107 Development Practice.
