Your transformation from student to a finance professional begins from day one. You will develop finance skills through practical application and real business experiences.

Making extensive use of up-to-date technology, you will gain the skills and analytical abilities employers seek.

You will be exposed to key concepts in business finance and in areas such as leadership, marketing and people management, strategic management and sustainable entrepreneurship. This solid foundation will support your advanced studies into specialist areas including risk management, financial reporting and analysis for management, and the role of the finance manager.

**Develop Key Skills**

This course strikes a balance between developing financial and business analysis skills. It equips you with techniques that help organisations plan and improve their decision-making process. It also prepares you for careers that require financial modelling skills. With this degree you will play a critical role in bridging the technical expertise of ‘hardcore’ data engineers with the operational expertise of marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, risk, and other frontline managers, ensuring that the deep insights generated through sophisticated analytics translate into impact at scale in an organisation.

The Placement Year is an opportunity to work in industry or practice so that you can put everything learnt so far into practice and gain hands-on experience.
