Here's what University of East London says about its Primary Education with QTS course.
This undergraduate primary education course will give you a degree and a QTS qualification. You will learn about children’s rights, core educational values and learning methods. The subjects and pedagogical approaches you study will be tailored to the developmental needs and learning styles of children aged 5-11.
The primary education programme will mix theory and practice and teach you:
how to create engaging and inclusive learning environments effectively manage primary classrooms; and inspire young minds to reach their full potential. After graduation, you will be fully qualified to teach in primary schools, making a difference in the lives of children and the wider educational community.

We assess all modules through different forms of coursework. Assessment methods include group work, exams and individual work including essays. In addition to writing traditional essays, you'll be required to write reports, policy reviews and give presentations. This is to ensure you gain skills that are relevant to and can be transferred to the workplace. In your final year, you'll write a research dissertation. All grades count towards your module mark. More details will be included in the student handbook and module guides. Feedback is provided within 15 working days in line with UEL's assessment and feedback policy.
