Why Cyber Security (with placement)? Study Cyber Security in Cheltenham at FuturePark, a £5.8 million computing hub where you’ll develop skills to defend against cybercrime.The BSc Cyber Security course is certified by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), part of GCHQ, recognising its high-quality content and strong industry relevance. Your learning is hands-on, using industry-standard tools such as network analysis platforms, SIEM tools and Cisco hardware. You’ll take part in group work, individual projects and cyber events, supported by guest lectures from industry experts.

You’ll work on realistic cyber security scenarios, learning to monitor networks, investigate incidents, respond to threats in real time, and suggest effective mitigations. You’ll learn to identify system and network vulnerabilities, assess cyber threats, and defend against attacks using modern tools and techniques, preparing you for a career in cyber security.
