Here's what University of Northampton says about its International Education (top up) course.

This programme is designed to provide students with the grounding they need in working in international education settings or teaching English as a foreign language. The programme provides coverage of key aspects of education theory, English language teaching and models of communication and enables students to develop as reflective, critical learners who understand the complex and changing nature of working in global contexts.

One distinctive feature is to allow students to combine the study of English language with the key theoretical and practical issues involved in the field of teaching English to non-native speaker or intercultural communication.

Another distinctive feature is the opportunity to apply to take the Cambridge English Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) at the University of Northampton. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to gain valuable practical teaching experience and graduate with an internationally recognised teaching qualification.

The university campus is giant but not intimidating. It had great building structures and looks pristine. The support from the different areas are also fantastic.
