Entry requirements
A level
At least one science preferred (Chemistry, Biology, Human Biology,Physics, Psychology) at Grade B or above, however applicants without one of these subjects may be considered on a case by case basis. GCE A Level General Studies is not accepted.
Access to HE Diploma
60 credits with 45 credits at Level 3. All credits must be Merit or above, with a minimum of 30 achieved at Distinction Access to HE Diploma must include specific level 3 credits in Biology and Physics, Access to Medicine is also accepted. Applicants must also hold full separate GCSE Maths & English at grade C/4 or 5 (or above).
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
At least one Science subject (Biology, Physics, Chemistry or Psychology) is preferable but applicants without will be considered on a case by case basis. Applicants must hold English Language and Mathematics as composite parts of the IBDP.
120 UCAS points required, points from A/B grades considered only. C grade and below will not contribute towards tariff requirement. Must include English, Mathematics and a Science at Higher H6 grade or above (D3 grade in old system) or Ordinary O4 grade or above (C2 grade in old system).At least one Science subject (Biology, Physics, Chemistry or Psychology) is preferable but applicants without will be considered on a case by case basis.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Scottish Advanced Higher
120 UCAS points required, points from A/B grades considered only. C grade and below will not contribute towards tariff requirement. Scottish Higher

Highers may be combined with Advanced Highers to contribute to 120 Tariff Point requirement, A/B grade Advanced Highers considered only. About this course
Accredited by the Society and College of Radiographers, this course will equip you with the skills to be a highly professional radiographer. Radiography combines science, technology and patient care to provide a vital role in patient diagnosis and treatment. Radiographers use a range of different imaging techniques and sophisticated technology to produce high quality images to aid diagnosis for injury or disease as part of the multi-professional healthcare team. The career structure provides opportunities for radiographers to specialise into many areas including ultrasound, CT / MRI scanning, image reporting, teaching and management.
If you are a problem solver with a keen interest in science and technology and a caring, compassionate nature, this is the course for you. Throughout the degree, your development as a learner and a practitioner are facilitated by academic and clinical teams who aim to provide a positive and encouraging learning environment for you to thrive. 50% of your time will be spend on placement, gaining invaluable clinical experience, and when on campus you will have access to dedicated facilities including two digital radiography rooms, CT imaging suite and antomage table.
Modules
The first year of your studies will cover a range of topics, including modules such as Fundamentals of Patient Centred Care, Introduction to Professional Collaborative Practice and Scientific Principles for Diagnostic Radiography. Moving into your second year will allow you to gain deeper knowledge and understanding of radiographic practices with modules such as Screening, Diagnosis and Intervention; Applied Radiography and Research Methods. Your third and final year is your opportunity to evaluate what you have learned during your course and to study more specialised modules within the field of radiography. More specialised modules include Trauma Imaging, Applied Research Methods and Compassion, Professionalism and Employment.
