Project managers are involved with a project throughout its lifecycle; from early feasibility and design stages, through to construction and handover. The role has a wide range of applications, from the management of new build projects, maintenance and refurbishment, to strategic asset management.
This Construction Project Management degree prepares you for a variety of project management roles in the construction industry. You will develop core project management skills that reflect the needs of the profession, such as programming and planning, project administration, risk management, construction technology, contract practice, health and safety, sustainability, and managing people. The Construction Project Management course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). When you graduate, you’ll have the ability and confidence to begin a graduate career as a project management surveyor and work towards corporate membership of the RICS.

The modules you will study
You will study the latest practice and procedures for the project management of new-build and refurbishment projects. Your studies will cover industrial initiatives such as strategic partnering and collaboration, prefabrication and offsite manufacture, lean construction techniques, and dispute resolution. You will also learn how to apply critical thinking to your experiences, which will help you work towards continuous professional development. Your Construction Project Management degree will allow you to manage effectively the range of tasks involved in a construction project. You’ll be able to take responsibility for time, quality, and health and safety, and overcome the challenges of new-build or refurbishment projects.

They did not honour the early payer discount, which they promised.

Uni's advice team is very hostile against students they regard you as their enemy and Uni's accommodation team is careless about the problems within the halls including dirty blocks and issues among students inside the blocks

Library did a lot to me this academic year for both borrowing books or using it as place to study in. there one thing I am not happy with is the food being served in canteen, too small portion and too expensive. All other facilities are good.
