Combine mathematical theory with practical skills in data analysis and computation on our BSc Mathematics with Data Science degree.
Data is a critical asset for businesses, research, and policy making. As a BSc Maths with Data Science graduate, you'll have the experience to tackle complex data-focused challenges. With your skills in maths and data analysis, you'll be prepared for careers in data science, analytics, and research.
Use our Maths Study space, with pods for group work, chalkboards and glass walls for writing on, to study with friends and get support from students across all year groups.
Furthermore, as part of the Russell Group, our rigorous scientific research feeds directly into your modules.
Key features of this course:
Explore topics such as machine learning, data visualisation, statistical modelling and optimisation, as well as choosing from a range of optional modules
As you'll be learning maths for data science, you'll also look at programming languages like Python and R
You’ll be taught through a combination of lectures and workshops, by leading researchers in fields, such as group theory, the mathematics of nature and experimental design.
