Lots of clubs and societies to join and great campaigns to make a real difference. Great facilities and staff on hand for support at all times.

Very friendly atmosphere and lots of clubs and societies to join. However, St Andrews is a very small town, and there is not very much else to do. It can feel isolating, especially since it is not in a central location so not easy to travel elsewhere.

Very expensive small town and high accommodation costs. However, the university offers a generous Access Scholarship to those on low household incomes, which is very helpful.

All staff from both academic and welfare services are very quick to respond to emails/queries. All staff are very supportive and friendly and do their best to avoid students feeling stressed or burnt out.
