Our BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management is a dynamic, career-focused degree that offers you a strong grounding in business and management while specialising in human resources. This course is ideal if you want to learn how to manage, support, and develop people in a way that drives success for both individuals and organisations.
As part of this programme, you’ll study a blend of core business disciplines, such as finance, management, and professional development. The integration of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) modules will ensure students choosing this pathway have a clear understanding of the requirements of the professional body within this discipline.
You will increase your understanding of how organisations function, how they are managed, and how they operate within the wider economy and business environment. Through this course, you’ll gain valuable business knowledge and skills that prepare you for a career in management. Alongside these professional skills, you’ll also develop greater self-awareness and focus on your personal growth, setting you up for success in a variety of management roles.

In the first year, you’ll gain foundational knowledge of business principles, focusing on organisational behaviour, marketing, and management essentials. You’ll explore how organisations operate, the fundamentals of human resource management, and the basics of financial and data analysis.
