Learning Style
You are taught primarily through a combination of lectures and seminars, allowing opportunities to discuss and develop your understanding of topics covered in lectures in groups. You are encouraged to access academic support from staff within the course team and the wide range of services available to you within the University. The course uses the NHS Leadership Academy Maximising Leadership in the Pre-Registration Healthcare Curricula Framework to build leadership skills through a spiral curriculum.
Facilities
Your time is split equally between learning theory on campus and applying your knowledge during placements alongside experienced professionals. The taught elements of the course take place on campus in Winchester and the adjacent Royal Hampshire County Hospital site.
Our Connections
You will gain real insights from experienced and registered professionals. The course offers practice placements with partner organisations under the supervision of experienced nurses. They seem to care a lot about societies but the uni is also in massive debt so canu2019t afford to put much money into them. Lots of events held by the SU, I donu2019t go so unsure how much attention they get. The SU shop stocks a fair amount of food and drinks as well as uni clothing but again itu2...

One campus club which isnu2019t too bad but no where else to go for a club. Some bars and pubs in town but are expensive. Most students go to Southampton for clubbing nights.

Never needed support in most aspects but I hadnu2019t heard great things about their mental health support from some people saying they can be quite dismissive so I went to my GP instead. Support from lecturers is easily accessible in the form of tutorials
