The BSc (Hons) Computer Networks and Cybersecurity course offers students the chance to immerse themselves in practical aspects of computing, networking and cybersecurity. Work-based learning and placements are an integral feature of the programme, as is developing an understanding of how IT infrastructure is essential to business operations.

During the three-year course, students will follow the new CCNA curriculum in developing their networking skills, as well as increasing their understanding in security, programming, database development and user experience. Students will be able to further their understanding of current and emerging technologies that will impact on businesses and society.

This course is delivered and awarded by Warwickshire College and is regulated by the Office for Students (OfS).

How you will be assessed

The course is primarily assessed using a series of assignments and phase tests throughout the three year programme and there will be a final examination.

During the BSc Computer Networks and Cybersecurity course, students will be prepared with the knowledge to undertake the Cisco CCNA qualification. These need to be taken at an external test centre. You do not need to pass the external tests in order to achieve the degree.
