Established in 1893 to serve Agriculture locally, Writtle University College has been producing leaders in the land-based industries and organisations for more than 125 years. In addition to our heritage in Agriculture, students now study disciplines from Sport, Art and Business to many aspects of the Welfare, Science and Performance of animals via Equine, Canine and Animal Courses as well as Landscape and Garden Design. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens on a 220 hectare estate close to Chelmsford, Writtle offers a very unique student experience.
