About this course
Cwrs cyfrwng Cymraeg yw hwn. Am y cwrs cyfrwng Saesneg, gweler Childhood and Youth Studies, X313.
Wrth wraidd y cwrs hwn mae plant a phobl ifanc yr 21ain ganrif fel actorion cymdeithasol: sydd â rhywbeth i'w ddweud, gyda gwytnwch, gyda bywydau cymhleth ac sy'n brofiadol yng nghanol yr holl newidiadau diwylliannol, cymdeithasol, addysgol a gwleidyddol sy'n digwydd yn y byd o'u cwmpas. Mae'n gallu arwain at amrywiaeth eang o yrfaoedd yn cynnwys dysgu, gwaith cymdeithasol, cwnsela a'r gyfraith lle gallwch wneud gwahaniaeth gwirioneddol i fywydau pobl ifanc.
Mae'r radd ddeinamig, amlddisgyblaethol hon yn cynnig cyfle i chi astudio ystod amrywiol o bynciau sy'n ymwneud â phrofiadau byw plant a phobl ifanc yn y gymdeithas gyfoes, gan eich cynorthwyo i ddilyn gyrfaoedd mewn amrywiaeth o feysydd gan gynnwys dysgu, gwaith cymdeithasol, cwnsela a'r gyfraith. Mae gan ein tîm addysgu arbenigedd a chefndiroedd mewn seicoleg, cymdeithaseg, hawliau plant, ieithyddiaeth, addysg, fforenseg, iechyd a lles. Mae'r amgylchedd dysgu cyfoethog ac amrywiol hwn yn nodwedd unigryw o'n cwrs, ac yn rhoi'r cyfle i chi astudio plentyndod a phobl ifanc o nifer o safbwyntiau.
Mae'r cwrs 3 blynedd wedi'i gynllunio o gwmpas tri llwybr, gyda modiwlau'n ymwneud â safbwyntiau seicolegol, cymdeithasegol ac addysgol ar faterion sy'n berthnasol i blentyndod a phobl ifanc yn ddamcaniaethol ac yn ymarferol. Mae'r flwyddyn gyntaf wedi'i chynllunio i roi sylfaen gref i chi ym mhob un o'r tri maes. Mae'r ail flwyddyn yn parhau i adeiladu ar y llinynnau hyn ac i ddatblygu ymarfer effeithiol drwy weithio gyda chyflogwyr yn y meysydd gwaith er mwyn datblygu gwybodaeth ymarferol a gwneud cysylltiadau pwysig â darpar gyflogwyr a darparwyr gwasanaethau. Mae hyn yn arwain at flwyddyn tri, lle gallwch astudio o leiaf bedwar pwnc a ddewisir o'r ystod o fodiwlau sydd ar gael ar hyn o bryd ar draws y llwybrau astudio. Yn y flwyddyn olaf hon byddwch hefyd yn cwblhau project ymchwil pwysig sy'n eich galluogi i ddyfnhau'ch arbenigedd a'ch gwybodaeth yn eich maes dewisol. Mae'r cwrs hwn hefyd yn cynnwys siaradwyr gwadd, cyfleoedd i astudio dramor, yn ogystal â chyfleoedd i gyflwyno mewn cynadleddau, gan eich helpu i ddatblygu'ch sgiliau academaidd a chyflogadwyedd. Bob blwyddyn cewch gyfle i fynd ar leoliadau gwaith i ddatblygu eich dealltwriaeth o agweddau ar anghenion a datblygiad plant ac i wneud ymchwil i faterion ac ymarfer cyfredol.
Nod y radd hon mewn Astudiaethau Plentyndod ac Ieuenctid yw rhoi sylw i’r galw cyfredol am arbenigwyr cymwysedig a all weithio gyda phlant, pobl ifanc a’u teuluoedd mewn ystod o gyd-destunau, yn y gymuned ac mewn sefydliadau. Yn y rhaglen ceir cyfuniad o sylfaen academaidd gadarn ynghyd â dimensiwn ymarferol a gweithredol a fydd yn cynhyrchu gweithwyr proffesiynol a all ymdopi a sialensiau cymdeithas gyfoes a phrysur mewn gwlad ddwyieithog.
Mae opsiynau 'Blwyddyn Profiad Rhyngwladol' a 'Blwyddyn ar Leoliad' ar gael ar gyfer y cwrs hwn. Bydd gennych y cyfle i ystyried yr opsiynau hyn yn llawn ar ôl cychwyn eich cwrs ym Mangor a gallwch wneud cais i drosglwyddo i un o’r opsiynau yma ar yr adeg priodol.
