The people in the house now did all of the searching and came up with a few possibilities that we all looked at. We knew we needed to look early because of wanting accommodation for 12. We had to sign our agreement with 1 person short but have now found that person. Signing the agreement was a bit stressful for me as I suffer from anxiety and I wasn't aware of the information I would need×

I have recieved great Teaching on my course, with the staff very friendly and open, as well as easily accessible. Feedback is on time and always very detailed, detailing what you did well, which I think is just as important as what you can improve on, and constructive criticism for the future. There is a wide topic coverage though it could be more consistent or broad at times. It can sometimes feel laking on my course. I feel I have learned a lot, especially more on writing style and proper formating of essays and other assignements, which can lead to a very apt ability to alwyas consider your work. There are workshops and consist help throughout the year which the department tries to keep all updated on.×

I live on a road which comes off the University. There are a good few students along the road as well as residents of varying ages. There is a school on our road as well which can make the road busy at times and thus noisy at times. It is not far from the university, about a 5 minute walk up the road, and is near the bus routes. It is a 5-10 minute walk from a tesco local and 5 minute car drive from a large sainsburys and a highstreet, Portswood, which provides a mixed bag of services, from exotic foods, to takeaways, charity shops and repair and tool shops. It is quite far from the city centre, a 20+ minute journey into the centre or a 30+ minute bus ride. It is quite though, aside the odd house party by neighbours. Neighbours are very respectful and friendly. Overall, it is a good location and I would live there again, if the house I lived in were a bit better.×
