The HNC in Business is studied over 1 year with the option of a further year of study to top up to the HND. The course provides students with the opportunity to prepare for a career in the ever-changing world of sales, marketing, retail and accountancy. You can expect to cover the core areas that any modern business owner or entrepreneur needs practical knowledge of, including marketing, finance, human resources, strategy and managing people. Live projects form a key part of the course.
Successful completion of the HNC/HND Business can lead on to a wide range of careers in: Sales and Marketing; Business Administration; Retail Management; Accountancy; Human Resources; Management.
You could also choose to study an extra year to 'top up' your qualification to a full honours degree in a related subject at a university after completion of the HND.
