If you’re looking to pursue a career in journalism, but would like to specialise in the discipline of music from the very start, then the BA (Hons) in Music Journalism at BIMM will give you the competitive edge you need to become a successful music journalist. The BA (Hons) in Music Journalism at BIMM enables students to develop specialist skills in journalism and public relations, encompassing the varied career options available, and preparing them for the demands of journalism and PR in today’s music industry. The course is highly vocational and, like all qualifications at BIMM, designed to act as a springboard into employment and entrepreneurship. Students benefit from a wide range of theoretical and practical modules, and have unique opportunities to engage directly with the music industry via work placements and entrepreneurial projects.
