**INTRODUCTION**

Welcome to the College of Esports BA (Hons) International Esports Business & Events Management which focuses on developing your Talent, Resilience and Identity in the context of the exciting and international world of esports with our unique TRI-Curriculum approach.

This course examines esports & events management from several perspectives namely professional gaming, environmental sustainability, event monetisation, event production, and international business.

This exciting degree combines your enthusiasm for esports and gaming with the your chosen subject of events management; allowing you to learn through the lens of your passion.

Your modules have been carefully selected to create an enjoyable and engaging journey as well as challenging for you as a student.

Your iconic campus is located in the epicentre of world-class event venues (of which we have partnered), ensuring that you, your skills and educational experience have a unique setting and platform. With esports events to play an ever increasing contribution to make this part of the world as an esports epicentre, you are best placed to maximise your knowledge in such an exciting setting.

Your own campus will host esports events of many different sizes and types throughout the period of your studies!

This blend will provide a strong foundation in all that is events management within the context of esports.

Your modules such as SEO & Digital Marketing and Marketing & PR for Events are in demand and can be put into practice in year one with our external partners and your own business ideas.

Our new module of Technology for Esports Events will allow you to understand the technical and practical requirements to manage differing event types for a successful delivery.

In your second year our new academic module such Esports Events Monetisation will provide skills to maximise financial impact, with Managing Customer Experience to provide balance for employers.

To ensure your events are ethical and environmentally appropriate, the Sustainable Events Management module will provide essential skills for your career and society as a whole.

**THE AIMS OF THIS COURSE:**

- To prepare you for a career in the global esports business or further study with the skills of enquiry, within an evidence-based practice-led, knowledge applied interdisciplinary curriculum and performative research framework.
