Leeds College of Music (LCoM) is a leading European conservatoire delivering music education to a community of over 1900 musicians through a variety of programmes, including undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, numerous short courses and Junior LCoM for those aged 9-18. LCoM launched the first Jazz degree in Europe in 1993, and in 2004 we became the first UK conservatoire to offer Popular Music, Music Production and later Music Business. Over 50 years since our inception, we now have a diverse offering of music degrees spanning Popular Music, Classical Music, Jazz, Music Production, Music Business, Film Music, Songwriting, Folk Music and Musical Theatre. Leeds is third largest city in the UK and has a thriving, eclectic music scene which provides the perfect backdrop to studying music.
