If you’re an early years practitioner who is passionate about working with children and their families and aspires to develop high-quality practice, our Education (Early Years) BA(Hons) course could be for you.

You’ll explore a variety of issues, including:

You’ll focus on safeguarding, society, and early years practice, developing your skills as you work towards becoming a reflective, evidence-based practitioner.

Assessment methods

Teaching (which typically takes place on a Saturday, to ensure it fits around those working within school and other childcare settings in the week) is through a series of lectures, seminars, tutorials, and interactive workshops. You’ll be encouraged to develop your own interests by choosing an option module after Year 3,

You’ll also have a personal tutor, who’ll support your ongoing wellbeing. Assessments include essays, developing creative and teaching resources to support children’s learning, student-led seminars, presentations, and timed tests.
