University of Leeds open days

Are you thinking of applying to this university?

Before you do, it's a good idea to go to an open day. You can have a good look around campus, getting a better idea of what it's like to study there. You'll meet current students and staff and get the chance to ask them questions.

Universities will list upcoming open days on their websites. Most will also have virtual open days; these are a great alternative if you really can't get there in person. For tips on preparing for open days, check the advice section here on The Uni Guide.

3rd year student

The diverse academic programs in international relations have provided me with valuable insights into global affairs and diplomatic relations. The faculty members, with their expertise and guidance, have been instrumental in shaping my understanding of complex geopolitical issues.

The teaching is quite unique, with time being quite evenly split between lectures and group work, meaning that you get a chance to discuss and apply concepts from the lectures in smaller groups with a tutor there to ask any questions. The facilities are great, with both a skills lab and a dissection...

It’s very interesting but I find there is too many group projects that feel unnecessary for certain modules, especially modules covering lots of theory and terminology whereby I think exams would be better

The course was very vigorous and we'll put together. I enjoyed the many discussions. I do wish there were more opportunities to submit more written assignments

i enjoy the content. however, due to strikes and other personal reasons, lots of lessons have been cancelled so it is difficult to keep up.

It’s a very challenging course with many elements to it. You are tested on more than just Chemistry but science as a whole, there are logical aspects that are mathematical as well as practical lab aspects. If you choose this degree prepare to have a lot on your plate!
