Are you thinking of applying to this university?

Before you do, it's a good idea to go to an open day. You can have a good look around campus, getting a better idea of what it's like to study there. You'll meet current students and staff and get the chance to ask them questions.

Universities will list upcoming open days on their websites. Most will also have virtual open days; these are a great alternative if you really can't get there in person. For tips on preparing for open days, check the advice section here on The Uni Guide.

Lecturers are generally really good. Some a lot better than the others. The structure is very good. I know whatu2019s next lecture and what to revise/write for next lecture. The only problem is some modules arenu2019t clear so I find YouTube a lot more helpful. You have to do a lot of your own work

Really good future prospects. Flipped learning can be difficult. Extensive lab experience as part of the course. Not enough futures/careers advice

Lectures were all online recordings from 4 years ago in my first year even though every other course was in person. The quality of lectures is poor and the staff are not great - even forgetting to give us required data sheets in exams

I love the course so much it's what i have always dreamt of doing and it's so hands but very difficult as there's lots to remember!

Terrible workload, and mismanagement by the department. EE modules are incredibly difficult but DoC (department of computing modules) are much easier and award much higher grades. Appeals take forever. I do love the content of my course but it's much harder than it needs to be.
