They are very focused on theory based work rather than practical. They focus a lot on strategy and research than design and don't really teach you technical skills or grade you on the basis of your technical skills. If you choose graphic design here you've got to accept that you won't be 'desiging' ...

The teaching is really good but it is very full on, with the tutors expecting us to meet deadlines but not always with a lot of support. I do wish they took more external factors into consideration.

The lecturers are particularly skilled in their subject and carefully plan our lectures and seminars to prepare us for assignments and placements
