I live 10 minutes away from university, in a cul-de-sac populated with students. It’s overpriced and retrospectively I think there are probably better properties to live in, for example Englefield Green has slightly cheaper properties and there’s no strenuous walk up Egham hill. Again, we’re very conveniently placed, with a 5 minute walk to Egham station and a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. There’s a few pubs scattered around, but being so close to the station, it’s often easier to go to another town.×
they provide no support in terms of money as i get minimum loanReport

I didnt have to apply for the bursary. The university automatically examines your living situation and gives money accordingly. I would recommend students look at what bursaries their university offers when applying as different universities offer different amounts and different criteria×
The History department at RHUL is fantastic; there is great support and a wide variety of stimulating and interesting courses.Report

Not much advice is given beforehand. Many estate agents take advantage with very high fees, upward of £800 Estate Agent lied to us about the number of rooms in the property and the fees which we had to pay. Found a lovely house, good price, with private landlord.×
