My course itself is well structured but has less theory than I expected - ECA is mostly practice revolved regarding the prime creative courses. If you are expecting more theory, I would do the MAFA course. There is a great push extracurricularly and mainly in progressing as an artist, with plenty tutorials with practicing artists. The teaching quality is good however with the extra modules, they are taught more my tutors who specialise in painting/sculpture so there is less of a focus on Photography within our research and theory classes, as a result there is a lot of extra reading.

      Accommodation

My accommodation is great, I chose to stay here longer after moving here in November of first year because it seemed much safer than the last place I lived in (Shrubhill). The accommodation is rather far out and not close to an awful lot, so I spend a large amount on the bus. The place itself is wonderful, great management and staff, nice rooms and common space. Very secure. The structure of the rooms is great, and it's an average price for student accommodation.
