Open Day

Are you thinking of applying to this university?

Before you do, it's a good idea to go to an open day. You can have a good look around campus, getting a better idea of what it's like to study there. You'll meet current students and staff and get the chance to ask them questions.

Universities will list upcoming open days on their websites. Most will also have virtual open days; these are a great alternative if you really can't get there in person. For tips on preparing for open days, check the advice section here on The Uni Guide.

I have access to speak to tutors within good hours, and access to all resources at any time of day. The course is taught very in depth and any questions are always answered with ease. Sometimes it’s hard because the groups can be at different levels but I find the tutors ensure there is work for all...

Mostly it's ok. There are some modules which are better than others and some which seem less useful. Tutor feedback ranges from thorough, positive and timely to convoluted and confusing. There are times where feedback has been missed. It is 100% coursework and very very time consuming. The predicted...
