Open Day

Are you thinking of applying to this university?

Before you do, it's a good idea to go to an open day. You can have a good look around campus, getting a better idea of what it's like to study there. You'll meet current students and staff and get the chance to ask them questions.

Universities will list upcoming open days on their websites. Most will also have virtual open days; these are a great alternative if you really can't get there in person. For tips on preparing for open days, check the advice section here on The Uni Guide.

Course is good, challenging but also not overbearing. I think the teaching for the essays and presentations could be a little better as much taught doesn’t really come up. Some feedback on essays is constructive but some could put more effort to describe how to improve on my next one. Staff are ...

Timetables are well organised and you're given plenty of notice for most changes. The structure of the lectures and seminars are logical and easy to understand even with the more difficult topics.

As well as attending your timetabled classes you study independently in your free time, supported by staff and the virtual learning environment, Moodle. Lec...

Year 1 work was quite a big leap from A-Levels for certain topics so it felt like I'd been thrown in the deep end.
