Open Day

Are you thinking of applying to this university?

Before you do, it's a good idea to go to an open day. You can have a good look around campus, getting a better idea of what it's like to study there. You'll meet current students and staff and get the chance to ask them questions.

Universities will list upcoming open days on their websites. Most will also have virtual open days; these are a great alternative if you really can't get there in person. For tips on preparing for open days, check the advice section here on The Uni Guide.

Foundation year student

The university campus is giant but not intimidating. It had great building structures and looks pristine. The support from the different areas are also fantastic.

The course overall was good however there were some aspects where there was a lack of communication when it came to assignments.

My course is structured very well. My timetable is within reasonable hours and is consistent. My lecturers go above and beyond to engage and suit the needs of the class. They deliver the course in a professional way but friendly also. My work is always marked on time and even early. Lecturers always...

My timetable was pretty intense the first year. I found myself going 3 full days a week. However, this relaxed over the duration of the course and it was nicely spread out, which gave me time to catch up on assignments. The course structure was pretty simple, the first year involved going through in...

My course is very interesting, as I get to learn my favourite topics. My timetable is easily accessible and spread out, which gives me lots of social hours as well as study time. The lectures are interactive as well as useful.
